Genshin Impact Unveils Phase 1 Banners for Version 4.6

The initial previews for Genshin Impact Version 4.6 unveil surprising alterations to the anticipated 4-Star character roster.
Genshin Impact Reveals Version 4.6 Phase 1 Banners

The Event Banners for the initial portion of Version 4.6 in Genshin Impact have been revealed, bringing forth an unexpected alteration to its 4-Star character lineup. While 5-Star characters typically steal the spotlight in determining the appeal of an Event Banner, certain 4-Star characters hold greater significance, particularly for novice players. Often, these crucial 4-Star characters hail from the early days of the game's release, like Fischl or Xingqiu, while newer additions tend to fulfill specific roles.

In Version 4.6, Arlecchino is poised to debut in Genshin Impact as a playable character. As a member of the Fatui Harbingers, she is anticipated to assume the role of a primary damage dealer. Being a Pyro Polearm wielder, Arlecchino's optimal healing choices include Chevreuse for teams centered around Overload reactions and Bennett for various other compositions. Yelan typically serves as her prime option for Vaporize due to her reliance on Normal Attacks, although a mon Pyro setup featuring Kazuha is also viable. Her Bond of Life mechanic necessitates the support of a shield, where Zhongli emerges as the top choice when Chevreuse isn't available.

Regrettably, both Chevreuse and Bennett are absent from the lineup of characters slated to appear on the Event Banners during the initial phase of Version 4.6, as revealed by HoYoverse. As anticipated, Freminet and Lynette will join Lyney and Arlecchino, rounding out the House of the Hearth's roster. However, instead of featuring Chevreuse in her first rerun, Xiangling will be the final 4-Star character showcased in Genshin Impact during Phase 1.

Although players may be disappointed by the lack of additional Chevreuse constellations in Genshin Impact, Xiangling still holds considerable value for new accounts as she continues to excel as one of the game's top Pyro applicators. For fans of Lyney, there's still an opportunity to assemble one of his Mono Pyro teams using the current lineup, as both Lynette and Xiangling are featured on the banner, with Bennett being the only exception.

Genshin Impact Version 4.6 Characters in Phase 1

  • Arlecchino – 5-Star Pyro Polearm
  • Lyney – 5-Star Pyro Bow
  • Lynette – 4-Star Anemo Sword
  • Freminet – 4-Star Cryo Claymore
  • Xiangling – 4-Star Pyro Polearm

Anticipated as a significant leap forward, Genshin Impact's Version 4.6 promises an expansive array of additions. Among its highlights are the introduction of the Remuria zone, two fresh Artifact Sets, a compelling Story Quest revolving around Arlecchino and Cyno, and the unveiling of a new Trounce Domain. Additionally, Version 4.6 will introduce Sethos, an Electro character hailing from Sumeru, who will join the playable roster in the subsequent Version 4.7. Set to launch in June 2024, Version 4.7 will further enrich the game with the inclusion of Sigewinne and Clorinde, expanding the ever-growing ensemble of characters within the Genshin Impact universe.
